Whether you have insurance or not, you're better off not using this subscription plan, or any others like it. That's $270 for one vial of T, the supplies, and the bloodwork. So if you've subscribed and paid for 1 month so far, you can't cancel till you pay for the last two months. Personally, I don't see a point in paying every month for something that needs to be dealt with every 3 months (that being blood work and re upping on T) Also! if you want to cancel your subscription, you have to finish paying for you sub. You pay every month even tho you're most likely talking to your practitioner and getting a refill every 3 months. Especially bc the pharmacies near me NEVER have the correct needles for my sub q injections. Not an issue with gauze or alcohol wipes ig, but with syringes and needles it's a pain. Great! Unless you mess up and have to use extra supplies and end up short. They send (typically) a 3 month supply of everything. Sometimes, I was billed on the 1st sometimes the 21st. On top of that, I was billed at random times, so it was hard to budget for the cost. Now personally, here are the negatives that made me cancel my subscription: It's convenient bc they deliver everything you need to you in a nice box, and when it comes time to check your t levels, you get your blood work done and they email it to your practitioner, and your results are available online as well. I personally after a year on T realized right now I value convenience and ease of access more than price. I will still go to an endo once a year for more in depth follow ups (particularly bc I also have PCOS/high cholesterol) The providers are all Nurse Practitioner types. I make six figures so money isnt my number one factor though #Folx testosterone seriesI am in the midst of a series of moves taking me across the country - being able to stay stable with one service as opposed to trying to find trans healthcare in my new state(s) is awesome Super trans competent care with remote telehealth It’s peace of mind that I always know my HRT related costs on a regular basis. I have insurance with a high deductible and one of my 6 month labs stuck me with a $1400 bill just for all my routine labwork. at least you know your total monthly cost with or without insurance. my doctor took FOREVER just to renew my monthly rx so this was a huge perk No going through insurance, no pharmacies, no waiting for your doctor to decide to renew your rx. 3 months doses with everything you need mailed to your door. all depends on what you value.Įxtremely convenient. I just started folx after using normal endo/pharmacy for about a year.
